My name is Nikki Charnow, I am a Behavior Analyst in NYC with a certification in Regulation Focused Psychotherapy and the founder of For the Love of Play. I hold my Masters from Hunter College in Applied Behavior Analysis. Currently, I work privately one on one, facilitate playdates and run small social groups. Using a play based approach, my expertise has led to specialize working with children ages 16 months to 10 years old on building language, communication, independence and social skills in addition to behavior reduction, teaching replacement behaviors, and preparing individuals to transition to school settings. I concentrate on teaching how to appropriately play with their peers and family, regulating sensory/emotional needs and self-management in social settings.
