Our Story

At For the Love of Play, we are passionate about empowering young children to feel confident in their social skills. We know that a child’s world revolves around play, and our goal is to provide individualized and specialized support in building collaborative play skills- like tutoring for socialization! Through a play-based approach and hands-on strategies, children become socially and emotionally confident- developing the skills required for play, school and beyond.

Our founder, Nikki Charnow, holds a Master’s degree from Hunter College in Applied Behavior Analysis with a certification in Regulation Focused Psychotherapy and Sensory Processing Disorder. Our team of expert instructors are similarly qualified, with years of experience in their fields. They hold graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
